About the role

As an SAP/CMMS Consultant, you operate as an independent consultant and are tasked with executing projects for our clients in the Oil & Gas, (Petro)Chemical & Energy Industry in Malaysia and globally.

Your role encompasses all aspects of SAP EAM within our clients’ maintenance departments. Leveraging your expertise in SAP EAM, you aid in optimizing and maximizing their systems. Through this, you provide invaluable support to customers, ensuring the successful completion of their projects. Your responsibilities include safeguarding data integrity and enabling clients to derive enhanced value from their systems.

The role is crucial for MaxGrip as you will:

  • Develop and update CMMS database in SAP ECC6 including Asset Registration/Hierarchy, PM Work Plan and BOM;

  • Execute SAP Plant Maintenance master data changes and creation of new asset register data;

  • Review asset data and perform asset verification (line tracing) at site with reference to P&ID and SAP Equipment List;

  • Contribute to identifying, quantifying and delivering SAP PM and other ERP system improvements;

  • Drive implementation of Maintenance Process Improvement through consulting coaching programs to clients;

  • Embedding and sustaining the newly implemented Maintenance Integration processes;

  • Drive implementation of Maintenance Change Management programs to allow behavioural change required for new processes and systems;

  • Ensure client’s needs and concern are understood, addressed and dealt appropriately;

  • Ensure consistency of approach, process and performance across all sites;

  • Perform maintenance management reviews;

  • Drive development and monitoring of Maintenance Key Performance Indicators;

  • Focus on ensuring quality and value-added results are achieved for our clients.

About you

  • BSc. (Ing.) Degree in an (technical) engineering discipline or a comparable level achieved by working experience;
  • At least 5 years of experience in Maintenance and Asset Management
  • At least 3 years of experience working with SAP
  • Familiar with Customizing Option regarding SAP EAM
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry;
  • You are analytical, adaptable and have excellent communicative skills;
  • You are able to lead a change and get others to adopt new ways of working;
  • Fluency in Malay and English (written and spoken).
