About the Maintenance & Reliability Engineer role

Your role will involve finding solutions to various asset and maintenance issues in order to minimize operational maintenance costs and ensure high equipment reliability for our customers. You will be working mainly in the Oil & Gas industry. Your main responsibility will be assisting industrial facilities in developing efficient maintenance strategies and implementing the best equipment reliability practices and methods.

As a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer you support and advice our clients at an operational level in Maintenance Management. You coordinate Maintenance Management improvement projects. You establish a sound foundation in Maintenance Management Consultancy Services by continuously assisting in and contributing to the development of the Maintenance Management Services.

About you

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or comparable;

  • Experience in asset management and familiarity with methodologies such as RCM, RCA & FMECA;

  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry;

  • You are analytical, adaptable and have excellent communicative skills;

  • You are able to lead a change and get others to adopt new ways of working;

  • Fluency in Malay and English (written and spoken).

As a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer, you are working on maintenance projects. In close coordination with the Team Lead and the other members of your team, you execute the assigned projects on schedule and within budget. You have a good understanding of Preventive Maintenance (PM) techniques, and experience with the practical application of PM in (industrial) equipment and systems.

Working at MaxGrip means being challenged to develop your skills. We expect you to already have a good working knowledge of reliability and maintenance principles, including criticality and risk management. You are familiar with the application of RCM, RCA, FMEA, FMECA, and RBI. Your education and experience enable you to contribute to technical workshop sessions.
