About the role

The Inspection Specialist for Asset Integrity Management plays a crucial role in ensuring the. This position requires a thorough understanding of Process Flow Diagram (PFD), Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), the ability to interpret technical reports, the ability to interpret inspection records, and a comprehensive grasp of asset integrity principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Asset Integrity Analysis: Conduct thorough inspections and analyses of equipment and infrastructure to assess their integrity and operational readiness. Utilize understanding of P&ID to accurately evaluate system designs and functionalities.
  • Technical Report Interpretation: Review and interpret technical reports, maintenance records, and inspection findings to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement in asset management practices.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, maintenance activities, and integrity assessments. Utilize asset management software to track asset performance and identify risks.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to maintenance practices, inspection methodologies, and asset integrity management processes.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of safety and integrity in every aspect of asset management.

Working Conditions

  • The role may require working in both office settings and on-site locations, including industrial plants and outdoor facilities;
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as required;
  • Some travel may be required for site inspections and meetings.

About you

  • A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the industrial, manufacturing, or energy sectors;
  • Proficient in reading and understanding of Process Flow Diagram (PFD), Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), Inspection Records and ETC;
  • Strong ability to analyse and interpret technical reports and data;
  • Familiarity with asset integrity management practices and standards;
  • Competent in using asset management and maintenance software is a plus;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team;
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and quality.
