We are looking for a driven and talented Business Development Representative to join our ambitious and rapidly growing team in Houston. This role is crucial in supporting our sales and marketing efforts across the Americas in line with our global branding and positioning, enhancing the effectiveness of our outside sales staff, and contributing to our overall business growth.

The Business Development Representative will work with Business Development, Sales, Marketing and Operations teams to develop new business, prepare and deliver proposals, and negotiate and win accounts. Your main tasks include:

Sales Support and Lead Management:

  • Contact prospects, qualify leads, and manage opportunities in the CRM.
  • Assist with quotations, follow-ups, and handling won deals.
  • Arrange prospect and client meetings
  • Create and share reports and dashboards on sales performance and insights
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing for smooth lead transitions to opportunities and quotes.

Assist in Performance Reporting and Process Improvements:

  • Collaborate with the Global Head of Sales Operations to manage and enhance sales processes and insights.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for increased sales efficiency.
  • Oversee lead management and suggest improvements.
  • Communicate new opportunities, developments, and field feedback to relevant staff.

Marketing Support:

  • Market research – Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify opportunities and share results with the team.
  • Support global marketing team with events, seminars webinars etc. This includes logistics, administration, promotions, and supplier coordination.
  • Protect the brand – Ensure all external materials adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Support regionalization of global content. E.g. proofread content and provide insights from research and client interactions.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.

  • 2+ years’ experience in a sales or business development role, preferably within asset-intensive industries.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
